Master Shower Doors has served Delaware and portions of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland with award-winning custom shower door designs and professional installations since 1989.
Throughout the decades, the family-owned operation has given back to many charities. This year, the company announces its continued sponsorship towards two fundraising events for the Delaware Humane Association at the “Best Friend” level.
“Helping those that can’t help themselves applies to people and animals,” as quoted by Jean Taylor, owner of Master Shower Doors. “When we get a chance like this to contribute to a reputable organization, we like to jump right in.”
The 10th annual Muttini Mixer, benefiting the Delaware Humane Association, will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 7:00 pm.
The event is a dog-friendly cocktail party, and the proceeds will support DHA’s mission to provide shelter and necessities for homeless dogs and cats throughout the four-state area.
Dressy attire is encouraged for both canines and humans at the event, which will take place at the World Cafe Live at the Queen.
Delaware Humane Association also hosts an Annual Rubber Duck Race. This is a fun event, which raises money for the homeless companion animal initiative. Over 10,000 rubber ducks, which may be adopted by community members for a small entry fee, will be raced down Christina River.
Each participant receives a number corresponding to a racing rubber duck and the ones that make their way to the finish line first will win prizes. With the funds, DHA provides important low cost services to pet owners throughout the area, including vaccination clinics and spay and neuter surgeries.
Master Shower Doors was a sponsor for this fundraiser in 2015 and will continue do so again. This year’s 3rd annual event will take place in September of 2016, with a date to be determined.
Master Shower Doors also donates to other local and national charitable organizations, including: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Sunday Breakfast Mission, Wounded Warrior Project, Special Olympics, Food Bank of Delaware, Delaware SPCA, Delaware Association of Police and Blood Bank of Delmarva.
