It’s time to make your bathroom shine. If you have beautiful tile or marble in your shower and want to make that the focal point of your bathroom design, consider Starphire glass shower doors.
Sometimes called “low-iron glass” because it contains only ten percent of the iron regular glass contains, Starphire is ultra-clear and brilliant in a way regular glass is not. During the manufacturing process, the green hue is removed.
The result is an ultra-clear view through your shower door to the beautiful tile inside.
Many customers with white tile are delighted with this glass option because it shows off the design work inside their shower.
Even at a thickness of ½” inch, Starphire glass remains clear.
At Master Shower Doors we have always offered a full line of glass options and designs including clear, patterned and cast heavy glass.
Recently, our customers have been pleased to discover how easy it is to have the modern and elegant look they want for their shower enclosure using Starphire glass. It creates a clear, beautiful, and dramatic theme in the bathroom.
Benefits of the Starphire Glass include:
- Starphire glass versus clear glass wins for its brilliance
- Durable and beautiful, Starphire glass showcases the beauty of your shower enclosure
- White tile, marble, or light-colored design work is showcased with Starphire glass

carazy, some people notice these types of details more than others. If the green tint in a white shower bothers you, and you have the extra $$ to spend, then you get the low-iron glass. If you do not notice it, then it’s not worth spending the extra $$. But it’s worth it to educate yourself on the differences so you’re not disappointed after the fact and wish you had known beforehand. The worst situation is to have spent a lot of money on a renovation and be unpleasantly surprised when it’s all finished.
